I miss Steemit!

It's been almost three weeks since I last posted here. Since we arrived in the Philippines from Saudi Arabia, we were so busy. We have been adjusting our lifestyle here especially our kids. That is why my Steemit journey was set aside for a while.

Unlike in Saudi, my kids were used to just staying inside the house most of the time and it was just the five of us (Me, my husband and our 3 kids). Here, everything was new to them. Though they have many playmates (their cousins), there are times they still cry a lot when they won't see me. They're not used to being away from me even in just one minute. If I go out or buy something outside, I need to make it quick so they won't notice it. It is really hard for me to do something like washing the clothes, because they don't want me to leave them alone. I can just wash our clothes when my youngest (my only son) is sleeping. There are times he wants me to just carry him all the time.

My eldest daughter Reign, however understands the situation. She too had her own adjustments in school. It's her first time to be in a regular school. She needs to wake up and take a bath very early which was not her daily routine in Saudi. Before, she was homeschooling so she don't do that. Haha! But I'm so happy because she like her new school and new classmates.

My husband has been very workaholic since our day one here. He has been trying all his best to repair the house that we just bought. He works 12 to 18 hours everyday. He wants to make sure that when he goes back to Saudi in July, me and our kids will have a decent house to live. In the meantime, we are here living at my mother's house. I am lucky my mother and my stepdad have been very supportive even with financial matters.

I hope my kids will be able to adopt and adjust how to live a normal life here in the Philippines. On the 1st day of July, my husband will fly back to Saudi to work for our future. I hope we can conquer the struggles facing our everyday life without the head of the family.
