You Know China Has a Major Problem When...
They can't stop their people from fishing outside their borders.
The latest China-Philippines issue/news is about the Chinese harvesting giant clams in our oceans and ruining coral reefs and such in the process. To what end you say? Will they be eaten? Treated as luxury delicacy or what? Apparently the clam shells are used for decoration, carvings or jewelry or probably just stacked together somewhere being of no use to anyone.
Here's what I found on Twitter:
Some people in our government do not understand the implications of why people are indignant over the giant clams being harvested illegally and the ocean habitat being damaged. If you are unaware too, read this.
If you'd like to help save these clams and the ocean life, you can join the adopt-a-clam program. Please visit the Facebook page of a part of our marine science institutes: BML Adopt-a-Clam
Here's a poster from their page posted last year.
And you know what's even sadder news?
Chinese fishermen are said to be broke as hell according to a Chinese citizen. Their coast have "nothing left" so the fishermen have nothing to fish. I assume that is why they go across the borders to do illegal fishing in other countries like here in the Philippines?
Well then summady ought to start doing something else for a living rather than fishing for nothing or going way across their country, right?
What should the Chinese people do then?
Of course I have no idea of the current situation of the fisher folk in China but I can certainly think of one or two things maybe they can learn to do.
Why not develop sustainable fishing practices in their surrounding area if they still want to be fishermen? If not that then find other ways to earn a living other than fishing and not caring about the environment.
Yes I know, the Philippines has a plastic problem and we're slowly working on correcting it. I can even say we're a Third World country so we're "slow" to develop and have no real "firepower." Come on, we're also too much of a forgiving people but China is not a Third World country, right? It has milleniums of history like Europe and America and is now supposedly the next super power in the world but what is the Chinese government doing?
I thought China is a rich country now with Billionaires able to buy luxury properties in New York? Why are the Chinese fishermen broke as hell then? China is loaning millions to other countries and taking foreign businesses and such when those people can't pay their debt. Doesn't that give them enough budget to fix their country? Summady share how we can all help China and help ourselves in the process too.
Read the Anonymous Chinese Tip below
If you want to know the details of what happens to the giant clams, here you go.
Do your due diligence too. If you're in China now while reading this, let us know what's going on and if you know something about this. I know no government is perfect so let's find a way to help each other instead. Let's get to the bottom of why China is such a bully and what kind of help it might need. (If they're open to be helped is a question for another day...)

Japan also has many problems in fishing with China…They used a crane machine to rob beautiful coral for money…I did not know that similar damage had reached the Philippines.
Perhaps there is "political corruption" on similar issues in Japan and the Philippines…
Japanese politicians do not oppose China, Japanese politicians are their slaves because they have contracts with Chinese banks…
I am supporting signatures and communities in Japan, but various issues will continue to increase unless the politicians' system is changed

Oh my, is that so? Thanks for sharing your story too. Haven't heard of it happening elsewhere.
Well I'm not sure if we have already started any government debts. As far as I know people online are against anything to do with getting debt with China...
Other people are pandering to the Chinese because they have money to spend on buying condos. Ugh. It's so annoying they are selling the country out for money.

Grabe talaga ang china. Di lang sa pinas pati sa ibang bansa gaya ng Fiji.
Kapalmuks tlga. Kairita sila.
