How can we identify a friend? Especially when it comes to being 'intimate'. What does this really mean for us?

Many of us often mention the term friend, even though the right hand is counting on our five fingers, it does not exceed how many real friends we enjoy in life.

Are not we just mistaken? Because, we have just one word, 'friend.' As long as we do not get a proper name for something, circumstance, and relationship. We have no certainty how this will be dealt with, corrected, and resolved.
If so, please do it. Next time, let's use those that apply to the scene; to apply the correct relationship to the relationship. Because when we did not change it, it misleads our awareness of the true meaning of the term friend.
