I've stuck some into litecoin - waiting for it to go to 10 cents or lower....(not much obviously).
I was thinking the same thing. I DO think steem might be a winner in the crypto world, long term (if any are and it's not all a con job , that is.)
I think it's time to ditch the 'things that make you think', and cash in on the system.

I've sent just under 400 now, and 5 people are talking to me. (redpilled).
These are some relatively 'high up' people.
It seems a much more productive way to 'lead the truth crusade', than on here, if you are trying to do something.
These people will/ can AFFECT change.
Steemit is just too small as a forum. And I'm not gonna waste my time changing the thought processes of the terminally delusional.

So, logically speaking - there really isn't much of a reason not to use bidbots ect.
Rather than seeing it as a forum of ideas, an actual community (which is what I've been working on) just see it as financial instrument.
Plus.... I can enjoy it more. Writing about history and my travel stories, makes me happier than arguing philosophy to the mentally ill...
Much more comedy time, and video production too!

I did use bots early , but changed my mind (for my own reasons).
If i start to see steemit as a financial instrument, that's exactly what I'll do...
Well the honest bit is this, at the moment steemit is bleeding steem again due to inflation and failure to print sbd, so if you "believe" this is a long term project, (and not one that stinc have just sold all their stake on Binance to people like me, for pennies on the £, allowing me to resell them on bitrex at a huge profit) Then there is no better time to use bidbots to gain a lot of sp and steem! :-)
