Great post. So much information, the ocean clean up is a massive issue. The beaches around the world that are made of eroded plastic and not sand says it all. I've always wanted a green house but my garden isn't big enough. Was wondering if I could grow strawberries or other fruit in those vertical containers?
Absolutely! you don't need very much space at all. there is even an open source project on how to make automatic window gardens from recycled materials and common components. Even a balcony can be a lot.
