Garden Tower Solutions and More!

So some of you have seen these amazing things you can buy to drastically increase the space efficiency of your garden.  Instead of lots of plastic pots you have to water individually, you have one big tower that can water all the plants at once.

You might have seen products like this:

That's great, but what if you don't want to shell out so much money?

But I've just seen a new innovative Solution from Open Source Ecology

They are working on a system that 3D prints these towers using a printer they have designed.  What is particularly nice it that the pieces will fit with standardized PVC piping so you can integrate it with materials you probably already have available.

Now that would be a nice garden.

If you mixed it with Aquaponics you could also ensure the quality of your own fish or just establish nice relationships between them and plants reducing, if not eliminating their need for fertilizers!

Now the oceans would have a bit less plastic, the fish would get to stay there.  People could be empowered to have the best technologies for creating their own products, which could be used to grow food from compost, fish waste and recycled materials all readily available to most people around the world.   And then you could use the printer to make more useful things you might need.  Hmm, interesting.
