Going out on a journey to find new ways to get high, people have tried various stupid things. It turns out in all those stupid things, few of them could give you weird side effects. I am sure you all will get shocked by this list.

1. DDT

DDT is a pesticide usually used for insect control from centuries. But around 70 years ago, people discovered that inhaling this can get you high similar to Ecstasy. Now it has made illegal in most of the countries around the world, but in 50s people used this liquid to make cocktails. Boy oh Boy!

2. Venoms and Poisons

Many poisons and venoms are considered to be hallucinogenic if taken in appropriate quantity. But that's not it, regular intake of proper quantity can make you look younger, make your skin glow, make you appear strong. The Encyclopedia of Psychoactive Substances claims that Men in India smoked venom of Cobras to have out of the world experiences.

I also read a story of a Native American Trib who swallows living ants so that ants would bite on their stomach and inject venom into their body. Later they would vomit out those ants and have hallucinations.

3. C-4 Explosives

C-4 is known for its explosive nature. A research stated that Modern veterans ingest C-4 and have psychedelic effects just by looking at the Sun. Okkaaaaaay I might try to ingest it in Counter-Strike, lol.

4. Drink Spiked Urine

So I read this bizarre but true story which stated that a tribe in Siberia drinks the urine of another person who has consumed fly agaric mushrooms(which is a drug and popularly known as the magic mushroom). Don't judge them, they have their reasons tho. Firstly the mushrooms are not available easily so this would help maximize the utilization of the drug. And secondly, pre-digested mushroom would cause them less nausea.

Wait there's more, they would also drink the pee of the person who has consumed the first batch of the pee. They repeat the process 5 times and still, the 5th person would feel the drug.

5. Saffron the flower

Apparently, Yellow- orangish Saffron flower could get you high similar to opium. Saffron was widely used by ancient people as a drug. In ancient India, people used to add Saffron in their Tea on daily basis and enjoy their trip. The Romans used this in their medicines.
