Of his father’s known children, Kim Jong-un is the second child of three full siblings, including an older brother known as Kim Jong-chul and a younger sister called Kim Yo-jong.

He also had an elder half-brother: Kim Jong-nam who was only recently assassinated in Kuala Lumpur Airport, Malaysia.
Kim Jong-un is married to one, Ri Sol-ju., as was reported by North Korean State Media on the 25th July 2012.
Ri Sol-ju, according to South Korean Intelligence, hails from a humble background; her mother, a doctor and father an academician.
Kim Jong-un and Ri Sol-ju got married around the year 2009, with the first of their three children being born a year later, the second in the year 2013 and the third, in February 2017.
Reading from his own father’s script before him who kept him out of media spotlight, Kim Jong-un also protects his family, especially his children.
Which is why they are scarcely known, and hardly any picture of his three children can be found.
However, in a break from his father’s tradition, Kim Jong-un is the first North Korean Leader to publicly show his wife.

His children however remain secret, with the closest the world knows of them, only being Kim Jong-un’s second child, a baby girl called Kim Ju-ae.
Her identity was revealed by Rodman, the former NBA star, and friend to the North Korean Leader following his 2013 visit to North Korea.
Rodman would after the visit tell of how he had held Kim's daughter in his arms, before describing the much maligned North Korean leader as "a good dad" with "a good family".
