Chronicle: Kim Jong-Un (North Korean Leader): HIS BIRTH

in #politics7 years ago

Kim Jong Un was born on January 8 — 1982, 1983, or 1984, to former North Korean Leader, Kim Jong II and wife, Ko Young Hee, an Opera singer who had two other children.

It is known that Kim Jon-Un is the third and youngest son of Kim Jong-il (also written Jong Il), who, under the Communist Worker's Party, had ruled North Korea since 1994; and the grandson of Kim Il-sung, his father's predecessor and Founding father of North Korea

North Korean authorities officially put his birth date as January 8, 1982. Several Reports however claim otherwise.

It is claimed that the year was changed for symbolic reasons, including, to ensure that it coincided with 70 years after the birth of Kim il Sung, and 40 Years after the birth of Kim Jong Il.

Neighboring South Korean intelligence believes the actual date is a year later, namely 1983. This is consistent to the date named by Chicago Bulls legend Dennis Rodman, who is a friend of Kim Jong-Un.

However records at the Swiss school which he attended, say he was born on July 5, 1984.

Following the recent move by the US Treasury Department to sanction Kim Jon Un, his official date was listed as January 8 1984.

Overall, despite the actual date, especially the year being shrouded in mystery, Kim Jong-un by consensus of the various accounts, is between 33 and 36 years of age.

However since no exact evidence has been given that refutes the official date given by North Korean authorities, it is only reasonable that we believe the date as given by the Korean government, namely 1982.

Even so, for all its worth, the mystery shrouding the mercurial leader’s birthdate only adds to that air of invincibility that even detractors of the DPRK (Democratic People's Republic Of Korea) must admit Kim Jong-Un commands.
