I tried to forget you
I really tried
but how could I when the sun will always shine
reminding me of the light you once brought into my life
how could I forget you when the rain keeps pouring
reminding me of the times that we danced until morning
in the pouring rain
with stars as our lights
to songs that only we could hear
a melody of hearts
how could I forget you when at day the sky is blue
reminding me of you
oh how you adored blue
the blue tendrils of hair you dyed
the blue gown that brought out your eyes
my blue days that you changed to white
oh how you adored blue.
