Peerplays Token and Betting FIFA Soccer with Bookie!
The new decentralized app "Bookie" will be launching soon. This app is on the peerplays blockchain and is about to eliminate the need for a private bookie in the future. True transparency smart contracts to place peer to peer wagers all over the world.

Yes, this is a smart idea as gambling is quite big all over the world. Great opportunity with the World Cup and then the regular season in the domestic leagues start soon after that. Only a matter of time before they branch out to other competitions like NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, etc.

The main difference between Bookie and the other sports betting companies is that Bookie is decentralized . This means that your money does not go through a third-party, it is directly sent via the blockchain.

I guess Bookie will not be in the Peerplays wallet. The wallet of course is just an interface to the blockchain. A GUI front end really. Bookie will be it's own separate DApp, like HelmBet, that will run on the Peerplays blockchain and interface directly to it like the wallet does. At some point you may be able to access Bookie through the wallet, but it will most likely just launch the Bookie DApp. Peerplays has an exchange built into it that has the ability to handle lots of different tokens. This is most likely the mechanism that will be used to handle payouts in other tokens to PPY holders.
