Participating in Pay It Forward Curation Contest for the First time-Week 28
Finally, I became able to find my two contestants for the contest. I never knew that I am a PIFC contest winner until @cicisaja came to my blog and told me about it. I have been told to participate in this contest by many people such as @cicisaja ,@brittandjosie ,@thedarkhorse, and many others. But I didn’t mainly for two reasons. One of the reasons I didn’t participate in it because I didn’t have the time and another is that I was scared to participate in the contest.
Why I was Scared to Participate in It
I find it very difficult two find out the two bloggers who meet all the requirements of this contest. Steemit is full of talented bloggers but most of their reputation is high enough to make them disqualify as a participant of this contest. I know that this contest is all about putting an undervalued blogger forward. But it is not so easy to find such a blogger.
Anyway, I will write another blog about it some other day. It is because I have noticed that this blog is getting too big as soon as I started talking about myself. Sorry, my bad habit, I can’t stop writing once I start.
So let’s not do any further discussion and find out who are these two bloggers whom I have chosen for this contest.
A Lover of Nature-@semipermeabile
She is an artist, photographer,mother of two and a lover of nature. She comes from Serbia as far as I reckon. She hasn’t mentioned her location in her profile. She likes to take photograph and like to write about whatever she captures in her camera.
Take a look at her profile and you will fall in love with her blogs. I had a hard time trying to move away from her blogs. I just wanted to keep reading and reading. Had I keep doing that then I wouldn't be able to write this post. I shouldn’t let her blogs seduce me like that.

He is from Slovenia and he works as an animator. He can create beautiful jaw-dropping animations and he is just 21. Can you believe it? We got such a talented young artist among ourselves! He deserves to get noticed by us as he joined with us just 24 days ago.

Your first blogger doesn't really qualify. The intro post is way to old and her couple current posts are photos only without any text. Don't' worry this happen to a lot of first time entries and your entry still is valid.
The second blogger has been upvoted.
Know that the level is an issue sometimes, but the rules are much easier then they used to be. We were level 50 and below and it takes a good amount of rewards to go from 50 to 55.

There is this quite word-narrative preference that many blogger platforms support. Still, I believe that photography or a drawing or a painting, or music can do the story, and that words don't have to be there always.

If there are enough photos they can tell a story, but a couple photos just don't unless you just happen to catch something amazing. Even the most iconic photos of all time went into a magazine with a story and the photo was supporting the story. Then in turn the story made the photo iconic as it became engrained in the minds of those who read the story. They may not remember the words, but the image lasts because the words touched them.
As someone who took many photography classes I've met enough people who felt their photo told all, but even they took the time to explain where the photo was taken, when it was taken, and all of the details of the lenses and camera settings when they displayed their works. Sadly those who felt this way, not one has ever "made it" as a photographer. The ones who have done well that I met over the years all understand the need for story telling and how the photo draws people into the story and even becomes the story once others have read the story. The image is lasting, but the words were needed to properly frame the photo.
The word requirement at 200 words isn't hard to hit and removes what most on steemit see as low quality posts. Side note this simple reply is long enough that a post would qualify. Seriously takes less then 5 minutes of effort.
I am actually glad this interesting discussion is opened! :)Sorry if it seems so, I am really not determined that my photo says it all, but I am sure that one photo can say a 1000 words, so that is the place I am stressing on. Regardless, I have learned a lot on how steemian community, or one part of it sees the "good content". It is very easy to write 200 words, I am not saying it is not, but making a good photo is not just matter of time, so this is also a place on opening new topic: What is blog? or: Can we say that photo blog is - blog?
For me, one of best blogs I have ever seen was that, a photo blog of a man (late) called Jamie Livingston. So I consider myself a supporter of this form, too. Don't get me wrong - not that I don't like the written ones. No.

Part of the issue on steemit is the massive volume of low quality photos that are used as "content" just so they have something to be voted on and buy votes for. I have made an exception a couple times for a few amazing photos, but they were truly amazing photos and think it was 4 or 5 of them. This has maybe happened 2 or 3 times out of 400-500 submissions with 2-3 featured bloggers each...lets call it 1000 featured posts. Very rare and to avoid confusion I'd rather keep it simple.
I can tell a good photo, one done with thought to framing, lighting, and shutter speeds and so forth but honestly most people just can't. They haven't had any sort of training in the field and will say "nice photo" to a photo of car on a street shot with a cell phone with horrible lighting and framing of the subject just because...when in reality the photo was just total crap and an excuse to have a post for the day.
So not trying to pick on you in the least with these descriptions as I don't think your photos were crap by any means but to keep it fair and simple we came up with the 200 word rule. Has saved me probably hundreds of hours trying to explain why a post is crap vs high enough quality to be acceptable when it comes to photos.
First of thank you for breaking down and finally deciding to try it out. I know exactly how hard it is find good posters that fit within the parameters. When @pifc started we were looking for 3 people up to lvl 50 (it might have been 45 it's been 6 months LOL) I was participating, I was working with another group where I had to find new posters also, talk about feeling overwhelmed.
I have found the best way to find people is to just keep an eye out and jot them down or just visit those you follow and look in the comments to find new people. With this group, never be afraid to ask questions and advice. We have an amazing group. I have commented on both features.

if you want to find a good blogger to be featured, you should check on the tag introduceyourself, travel, adventures, steemmonsters, kryptonia, gardening, blog or others tag... I saw you quite active on some promotion post on discord.. find a better one there

Not the second one but the first blogger wasn't accepted by the @pifc. It is a good contest indeed but next time I just have to be more careful while choosing my contestants.
