All About Grapevine - All this talk about wine... Is there beer?
With a name like Grapevine you know there is a lot of talk about wine... I wrote about wine tours a couple of weeks back. You can check that here. What you might not realize is that there is a local Grapevine breweries in Grapevine as well. They are Grapevine Craft Brewery, Uncle Buck's Brewery and Steakhouse, and Outlaw Cider Company. Plus in the spring don't miss out on Main Street Fest a Craft Brew Experience on May 17, 18 and 19, 2019.
Grapevine Brewery
I stopped by the Grapevine Brewery earlier today to take a few pictures. Just afternoon... things were just getting ready for the day!
If you are looking for a tasting that does happen. I just suggest you wait until after 1pm. That gives them time to open and get every setup and checked! It is a real brewery with vats and other beer prepping areas.
They are located on the corner of E Dallas Rd & Jean St at 906 Jean St. | Grapevine, TX 76051 You can also give them a call to make sure they are ready for you... especially with a larger group at 817.488.2337. They do have award-winning craft beer! The brewery is just minutes from Historic Downtown Grapevine and boasts a large taproom where you and your friends can enjoy a cold brew. Close enough to take a shuttle from your hotel and catch it back so you don't have to worry about drinking and driving!
UNCLE BUCK’S BREWERY & STEAKHOUSE
This brewery is located adjacent to the Embassy Suites inside Bass Pro Shops. Talk about convenient! They not only have In-house brewed beer they also have In-house brewed sodas!
They are located at 2501 Bass Pro Dr Grapevine, TX 76051 you can call (972) 724-2018 the Bass Pro Shop number and ask for the restaurant. The store hours are 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM daily.
OUTLAW CIDER COMPANY
They are located in Historic Downtown Grapevine... just 1 block off of Main St at 112 E Texas St. | Grapevine, TX 76051.
As you guessed it... they specialize in Cider's. What a selection! They include Ciders called "Pineapple Crush," "Blackberry," "Outlaw Apple," Tea-Red Hard Cider," Cherry Bomb," and "Freaky Peach Mint,". They are open Friday: 4pm - 10pm Saturday: 12pm - 10pm Sunday: 12pm - 6pm.
So it's not all about the wine in Grapevine, Texas, USA... there are other areas to check out as well!
