Identities 身份

A person can have several identities. The different identities imply also different roles. The various identities also mean having multiple relationships.

It is vital to relate to another person according to the appropriate identity. We relate to our fathers and mothers as their sons or daughters. And we relate to our uncles and aunties as close relatives.

When a person has different identities, we should relate to that person based on the identity relevant to the situation. For example, if your father is also your teacher in your school, you are to relate to him as his son at home. But he is your teacher when you are in the school.

Therefore, we need to know the implications of different identities and relate to each identity appropriately.
