Mermaid Monday Contest 33: Ancient Aztec
Hello Steemians, Mermaizing artists and Partiko lovers,
I am submitting this drawing of a mermaid that I made to the mermaidmonday contest of @nymia.aryn. The contest is about creating a mermaid art using your medium of choice following the given theme. Our theme this week is Ancient Aztec. Very beautiful theme and grand. Here is my entry
A mermaid being beamed up using the power of ancient gods that she serve.
The process:
Quick sketch of how I want her to look like
I want my mermaid to show beautiful and artistic stains or tattoo on her skin. At this point I am already fine with my color choices but Aztec colors are not yet enough
I love the blue pigment I see on Aztec related materials and I want to use that color on the mermaid tail
Finally the details: golden bracers, mask, breastplate and jewels on her hair.
