Volcano 🌋 - Acrylic Pour
Hello!
This is the second acrylic pour from last week. This one had no white in it and it made me very very happy to see it when it was poured. ( ˘ ³˘)❤
It has a richness to the colour that really delighted me. I would say this one was my favourite of the three I did last week. I did two or three pours on this one, but at the same time so they fused together to become part of the same piece.
There is something very meditative about pouring. You have to slow down so that you can keep distinct shapes and not make a mess on your desk. (‘-’*) You can see in the bottom left hand corner how the colours look dragged out when you move it around a lot versus the right side that had more pours to keep the patterns. But all in all, the swirling colours are very very soothing.
I have to decide what I'm going to do with them soon otherwise I will just have paintings sitting on every surface in our apartment. (°o°；) My partner is very patient with it. I wouldn't mind making prints of them or some how fabric would be really nice. I also think I should find a nice top coat to finish them off before I store them. I'm new to painting so I'll have to do some research.

I'm glad to see you have returned.
I'm sorry I worried you! I was pretty sick and afterwards just needed some time away because being on steemit so much wasn't good for my health program. But things are going much better for me now so hopefully I can keep being around more. (*＾▽＾)
Health is number one! Without it, nothing else matters much, so I fully understand. It is good to see you back and I'm sorry to hear that it was a health issue that made you leave. Hopefully things will get better quickly.

Wow, I really like this one, Ciel :D Definitely feeling the title here, VOLCANO! Yes, there is something energetic and fiery with the shapes in this one, isnt there? I love the yellows, and the purples, and the tension between them.... aaah.... Very wonderful work !
Thank you! I usually am not drawn to yellow but I really think the yellow made this piece. It provided such rich contrast that white could have never done. I think this piece made the best use of colours in the batch of paintings for sure. In person, I often spend time staring at this painting at meal times because it is sitting close to where we eat. I find it so energizing but soothing.
