It's introduction time

I'm Abigail, a Surinamese

New Nickerie is my home city and Tamanredjo is my hometown, and Paramaribo is my city. I'm raised in all three of those cities, they all have a different set of feelings.

Most people don't like Nickerie that much, because they find it very boring. But believe it or not, it's the safest place in the country, and the food is cheap 😁

I'm a high school teacher and teach the subject IT.

Why am I on steemit? I don't know actually, let's just proclaim it's @jeanlucsr fault 🤷‍♀️

Alright, with that being said.
I love Art, everything about it, unfortunately I don't have time for all of it. All that dancing, singing, acting, painting, drawing, crafting, poetry, what else is there 🤔 I'm good at some of them, need more skilled in some of them, I'll let you guess which one of them 😬
My favorite Shakespeare's poem is Sonnet 116. I bet every poetess has a favourite Shakespeare poem, am I rite?

What I do except teaching? In my free time I pick one thing or two of the arts. It varies to my mood or feels.
And in my not so free time, I do volunteer work: organizing, giving workshops, planning, being secretary, empower.

I try to make my world in a balance.

I like long rides towards sunsets and getaways, waking up in the morning watching sunrise while enjoying a cup of tea. I love skincare.
And you'll constantly hear me saying love yourself, make yourself happy, take care of yourself, be grateful, be kind to one another, have patience, dance silly, and sing even if you don't have the most beautiful voice ever. And hakuna matata!
