This is the story of a young lady who was deeply in love with a man. Evelyn had being in a relationship with Paul for about three years before her parent relocated to Texas. She had pledged all her time, energy, resources mentality, emotions to ensuring the success of her relationship.
Evelyn's parent are such wealthy one that could afford her anything so long money is involved - live in Texas in United States with several mansions is Mauritius, Ghana, Gambia, Aberdeen, and Nigeria. Nothing is within her reach as long as she wants it.

Her relationship with Paul is one that she would not have anyone even her friends talk about, nevertheless she respects her parents decisions in all ramifications. The quest to protect her relationship led her to relocated back to Nigeria on awareness of her parent to manage the upper echelon of her father's oil firm in Nigeria.
Paul, who came from a poor background had planned with his love to have a secrete court wedding since Evelyn's parents would rather die than see their only beloved daughter in union with a pauper.

Subsequently, the news of the secret wedding came to Evelyn's parent. Her father became infuriated which led him to took the next flight on the spot he got to know, to Nigeria.
What an unlucky day for the lovebirds as Gideon, Evelyn's father who had been around two days to the secret wedding deterred the whole plans.

Paul was seriously molested and bullied. His to-be-wife was forcefully taken away from him by two of Gideon's bodyguards. Meanwhile Gideon and his wife, Moremi had planned to give their daughter hand in marriage to the son of his close business partner, Donogu who was a successful business tycoon. This has been once revealed to Evelyn which led her into taking earlier decision.

Evelyn's passport and all traveling documents was seized by her father. All means to reached for her heart-glued was blocked. She was left with no choice after brooding for weeks than to accept her parent's decision. Though her heart aches day by day for who she indeed loves, but all means to escape proves abortive as her father is well connected. Perhaps her wedding with Donogu had been prearranged. Shortly after she was moved to Texas, the date was communicated to her. She was not allowed any chance of making a decision but to ratify the act of her parents.

The wedding day finally came, and she was betroth to a stranger. Everything went fine except the fact that it wasn't her will. The couple moved to Florida where they had their honeymoon. Donogu knew his wife wasn't happy but he had wanted it out of desperation.
At exactly, the midnight, he made approach to copulate with his wife but Evelyn could not give in but to resist him to have her. The struggles went on for couple of hours. This time Donogu had to lose his patience and resulted to using force on her. He had torn her clothes apart, and all her undies mutilated. She wrapped herself with a towel but Donogu won't stop unless he get into her panty. She screamed out loud for help but no one could hear her.

This time Donogu became aggravated and leaped on her. She was battered and eventually raped leaving her helplessly laying on the floor.
