I agree with you totally even though I have girls and not boys. This sense of control over children is so damaging but so accepted in society as well, it's like adults think children are stupid and need to be told how to do or not do everything. It is the last civil rights movement. People really do think children totally incapable when, in fact, they are the most trustworthy. I really appreciate you saying that. You're an amazing mama too.
