This is the song I have been singing since Daddy left for SteemFest in Poland but, now he is back and today is Daddy / Daughter day. I was a bit disappointed I didn't get to go to SteemFest because as you know, I have some ideas too. There should definitely be an interface for babies to document their lives, perhaps BabybookBB. That can wait a little though I guess.
It was also Father's Day last Sunday and we missed it. Pappa visited the daycare last week to celebrate since Daddy was away and that was pretty awesome. Pappa is pretty awesome for a Pappa. However, I did get Daddy a present that I could give to him when he got back from Steemfest and it just so happened, it was a bit of a gift for me too. Matching Socks! Now we can be sock twins.
I also made an awesome card for Daddy but since he can't speak Finnish, I have to translate it for him each time he looks at it. It says "My Daddy" at the top and I stuck all of the patterns on myself. I used his work clothes as inspiration obviously.
When Daddy arrived home he brought me a little gift from Krakow, a fox. Mummy tells me stories of Kettu Kettunen (Fox Foxy) and Pupu Pupunen (Bunny Bunny-y) and I have lots of bunnies but no foxes. Now I have my own little Kettu to play with and act out Mummy's stories. She is a pretty good story teller these days I have to say and Kettu and Pupu have lots of adventures together.
Today, Mummy is off studying in another city and Daddy will take me for a checkup with the nurse. I have a bit of a flu but that seems to be par for me over the last year or so. At least I can wipe my own nose these days. I think that Daddy has been a bit surprised at how much I have grown in the last week, I am quite independent now but not quite ready to move out of home. I don't know when that will be but I will have to think it through because I am unsure how the parents would cope if I wasn't here to help them out.
Soon, it is time to start getting ready to go to the nurse but before that, we will play a little more together. It is good that daddy is home, he likes to play lots of games with me. That is an important trait of a Daddy.

Thank you for lending your daddy to us for a few days, we had a fantastic time with him.
I am glad that you enjoyed his company and I hope he didn't embarrass our good family name too much. I also hope he let other people at SteemFest talk sometimes as we tend to be "talkers" here.

We take turns too. I speak, he listens. Then it is his turn to listen while I speak.
Awww. It was a fantastic time wasn't it? When Steem moons for real, we can have meetups all over the place whenever we want :D
Yes it was, and I'm so happy you made it there with us! I think in the future, it won't be Steemit meetups, but more like actual friends with mutual interests hanging out :)
Yep. this is going to be the way it goes and SteemFest is unlikely to be the same again.
Hey little cutie...I don't think I could miss you more than I do! It was good to see that video of you today and glad that all the clothes and stuff me and your aunty Faith sent fits and that you like the other things we got you too.
We're looking forward to some pictures but we'll wait patiently knowing you have to go to see the nurse. Hope that goes ok.
The video made me smile but also made me miss you more than ever.

The clothes are awesome and I love the unicorn bag! The photos will come and perhaps on the weekend Daddy will take some proper ones of me dressed up with some wings.
