Kudos to you and other mothers like you! As an adult I am still working on unschooling myself and learning to express and deal with my emotions. No fault of my amazing mother, but as a result of culture. You're doing an amazing thing for your family! I learned a lot about the challenges of parenting from you. It's nice to hear a fresh perspective about disciplining, social interactions and enforcing cultural norms.
I am glad it helped. No fault to any mama that loves her babies. It's so hard to buck the cultural norms. Hopefully the next generations gets something different. I certainly hope my children parent better than I did.
It seems that every good parent has that same wish for their children!
I would hope so, but some seem frustrated by their children's wisdom.
