Haunting at Oakhurst Playhouse
I am working on a post about Oakhurst Gardens it is the former home of the Ball Family. Elizabeth Ball was a young child when her parents had this playhouse built for her.
Once I got home and started processing the photos I took today I was picking the ones I plan to use for my blog about Oakhurst Gardens I found a two strange photos. I always take two shots when I take photos in succession and the photos are basically the same. But first let me show you the West, South, East views of the inside that I shot through the windows of the inside of the playhouse.
This is the view when looking in the West facing window. Notice you can see my reflection too.
This is the South view when looking in you can see the glass pane door on the North side of the play house. Once again you can see my reflection
Now to the East view of the Playhouse Once again you can clearly see me in the reflection of the glass.
Now these are the two photos I took from the door, I was up next to the glass like I was with the other photos so you should see my reflection and the playhouse in the background this is where my haunting begins though I didn't know it till I got home. I don't see how I capture this, at first I though some how it reflected the background but if that was the case shouldn't I be in the photo too? I wasn't expecting to write this blog but unexpectedness happens all the time.
So this is the unexplained thing that happened to me today. I don't have a better word but to say a haunting. That maybe Elizabeth Ball's spirit was letting me know she approves of me telling the world the Oakhurst Garden story. Or maybe it was a warning not too. I will be telling it soon either way.

I made a typo and have since fixed it I did miss the typo.
It's a mysterious event. I think it has been approved. If disapproved you could not have taken any photo. Praise God that have left positive history. You are also courageous. Good keep on with your research.
I wasn't even going for a story like this. I was gathering research and photos for a story about about the legends of the Fairies of Oakhurst Garden, in Elizabeth Ball's diaries she wrote about fairies that lived in the gardens and believed in them.
As I said... I love paranormal #yunk...
I'm looking forward to hearing more about the Ball Family as you continue your story telling.
It is an interesting story that a fiction book has been based off the story and legend, which I plan to link in the story. Hoping I have enough energy to get it done today, as I didn't get much sleep I had to get up at 4 am to take my youngest daughter to the airport.

Hi @tecnosgirl yes there is many strange things happening. I made quite a long post two weeks ago about a story that happens to me, I like paranormal but sometimes when things happen it can be very scary.
I never find these things scary, though it has been a while since I have had something happen that I have captured, though it isn't the first time I have captured something weird
Most of the time it is not scary just strange but sometimes you really fall on some thing big and not nice. I have experienced some for a few weeks and we were all affected by it. When I got home and saw this I got excited, I didn't notice it when I took it but now I want to go back and see if it happens again. Shit maybe Elizabeth Ball was right and there really are fairies on the land and paranormal happenings.
I'd go guessing there is a difference in amount of light in the background and that's why only well lit things in the background are seen visible. With more light available, I could say you would be visible in the reflection too.
Sorry for being boring like this though and I'm not saying I'm right, just the first thought I got from the photos :)
Also the doll is pretty much only thing visible as it seems to be directly in the light. You can see from other photos that the crib and the doll are in the sunlight. When taking a photo, taking a photo of an object directly in sunlight makes all the rest "disappear in the darkness" :) You can try it indoors too. The window only makes the effect more clear.

I am gonna have to see if I can get the effect again on purpose to see if it is the case will go near the same time of day so the lighting is right
What kind of camera do you use? :) You could try getting the photo overexposured so the doll will be very well lit and the background could become visible again..
I use a Nikon D3400 and had my 55mm lens on it
And that is what I thought too, but I should be in the reflection to shouldn't I?
I guess you are standing in a position in which you are simply not really visible in the reflection, as there is no light coming on you or at you. You bring a flashlight and try putting some light in your face to see if you'll be seen in the reflection :D
