Seeing things that aren't really there, or are they?
We have lived in this house for 30 years, since moving in we have always thought there was something else here or someone else. There's nothing bad happened apart from the odd light going on, a tap turning on and the odd footsteps on the stairs. The girls have felt as if there being watched plus we have all seen the odd shadow out of the corner of our eye. I do feel different when I am on the stairs, colder. Maybe its just me over thinking things.
Around 2 am this morning Mika my dog woke up wanting to go out, Glen my hubby got up to take her out, I stayed in bed, I turned towards the door as I heard Mikas paws on the stairs then saw a dark haired man walk up the stairs, I got up thinking Glen must be half a sleep as he hadn't shut the front door, I got to the stairs there was no one there, Glen was busy locking the front door then went to get a drink. I checked the girls room there was no one there. Maybe I was half a sleep maybe it was just my imagination or maybe...
Ive never seen a ghost before but believe there is something more than this, well I hope there is as at the minute what we have isn't that good.
I know my father has seen ghosts, he was in bed when he saw his mum at the end of his bed, she told him not to go to work the next day (maybe it was just an excuse for a day off) so he stayed off, we then heard there was a cave in at the pit where he would have been working, he would have been killed. The 2nd time was when he was walking to the coal mine in in the early morning, there was thick snow on the ground, no one was about. In front of him he saw a young lad walking towards him, he was wearing old dirty raggy clothes, he didn't have a coat on, when he passed my father felt really cold then turned to see where the boy was going, when he turned around there was no one there and only his footprints in the snow.
I don't know if it was the truth as he was full of S**T, he used to tell us from a early age that he had sold his soul to the devil and we must not look into mirrors at night time as we would see evil faces and they would get us. Telling a child that scared us all, he thought is was hilarious.

I've never had any paranormal experiences but I do find the subject fascinating. Please keep us posted on what happens:)

I have seen things the oddest being a man in a very distinctive hat and suit, I saw him several times over the course of several weeks when I was out and about at night so I just thought it must be someone new to the area.
Then I went to visit my grandma with my mum, mum went straight into the house while I grabbed a few bits from the car so was last into the house arm full i turned closing the door with my foot. the man was standing there. I dropped the bits I had to open the door and apologise for closing it in his face. As you can guess there was no-one there.
Bemused I went into the house and told everyone what had just happened and how oddly it felt completely right that this guy should be there. My grandma asked what he looked like I got part way though my description and she said "oh that's my uncle Tommy, don't leave him at the door next time."
WOW that would have been amazing. Have you seen him since?
I saw him a few more times. but this was in the year before my hubby died. I've been told I "psychically shut down" after he passed and should/ could open up again. But in all honesty, I just don't want to.
even though I've had some very vivid experiences I've never been sure if I truly believed.
After all mental illness is a thing in my family so I could just be crazy hahaha.
Your def not crazy hun, maybe dealing with it and opening yourself up again might help you. You never know who you might meet again :)

Interesting story and who really knows I dont personally dont believe in all that stuff, but yet I strangely have seen things I just cant explain..so I just dont know, but good post chilling upvoted.
