🌄 Taboga Island Panama 🌴 So close to the City but feels like a different country 😎 An easy day trip or extended stay 🚢
🌊 Taboga Island is a very popular getaway for Panamanians, Served by 2 different ferry company's departing from the Amador Causeway. Many other large Catamarans and Yachts offer daily excursions to the Island but stay anchored offshore near the beaches.
🚢 The Taboga Express https://tabogaexpress.com/ is the faster of the 2 services but leaves from the East or Panama City side of Amador, thus has farther to travel but more sites to see along the way. $20 for a return trip. 👁 Shedule below.
🚢 I asked the bus to let me off at the taboga ferry and was sent to the Calypso Ferry. Just across the causway from the Taboga Express. The Price is a little cheaper and the boat is a little slower but leaves from the canal side so has less distance to travel.
🚢 So for the budget minded, The Calypso is $5.00 cheaper when booking a return trip. If money is no object You can book a party boat to and from Taboga for concideraly more. 1 Example is the Red Cat All Inclusive Day Tour

There are too many others to mention, and I didn't know how many till I spent a few days on the Island looking for a sailboat to purchase. Many local Yachts also pay the island a visit.
