I found this nice Rock full of Crystals at a small river near home - Going to look for some more Treasure today - Life is Good
🌈 While exploring a small river near home I found this nice rock. Panama has lots of Geology to explore, Gold panning is a popular pass time and many people do only that for a living here.
👁 I used to do a lot of exploring around Panama looking for Gold 👀 in the rivers with Pan's or a 2" Dredge I used to have and it's always nice to find some Quartz around as you often find Gold in the same areas or even in the Quartz itself.
This piece is about 6" long and 3-4" wide, I spent a lot of time looking for the rest of it with no luck
As you can see in the following photo of the back side of this Crystal rock it looks very ordinary and you wouldn't expect to find such a nice treasure inside.
Nothing beats exploring a river on a Hot day staying cool while Treasure hunting. I'll have some great stories of Gold Hunting when I can get access to my old photos.
Today we will do just that, Its a great way to get some exersise and the dogs love a walking adventure. We are going looking for a waterfall in the hills behind our house today.
Hopefully I can create a good blog tonight of the adventure?

Wow! That is really cool that you found that! We have a creek that runs through our property. Need to have the kids go out and explore around it and see if they can find any gold. :) That would be interesting. Who would get it then - the kids or the parents? ;) Have a good one!

Pretty nice way to pass the day away, but it's the rainy season now so the water was brown and running faster than normal.
Yeah, the Rio David runs behind our neighborhood and it gets pretty active and muddy too when it rains.
That's awesome you found it. I bought a geode at the local rock store where I live, it kinda looked like that but yours is way nicer
My favorite thing to do is go on a good treasure hunt. That's a nice rock of crystals hope you find some gold too. 🐓🐓
I was heavy into gold when I lived near a gold river, I was also a purchaser offering $2 more a gram than the locals, so got to meet a lot of nice people and hear their stories. I once bought a 23 gram nugget, I should have sold for a collector item but alas needed the money and sold for weight.

I'll put some Gold Hunting stories together in time. All my old pictures are on DVD and my drive broke so might be awhile. That's the nice thing about stories though, there timeless :-)
