Mitt Romney turns on President Trump, and his Constituents, over Impeachment; and Really looses support at home!

President Trump has had a competitor in Mitt Romney for years. Now Romney has changed from snide remarks, to direct politically motivated attacks. He is siding with the DNC on calling witnesses on Impeachment, and those he represents are not in agreement with his decision.

Mitt Romney has Always been a RINO, but he has moved further left recently; and begun direct attacks on President Trump; and indirectly, has also attacked his constituents!

Utah is very angry about this knife in their back!

He is stabbing Trump in the back…

Sen. Mitt Romney is a “frequent critic of President Trump” and is making a “strong pitch” for additional witnesses in the Senate impeachment trial. He said, “The article in the New York Times I think made it pretty clear that [Bolton] has some information that may be relevant.”

“And I’d like to hear relevant information before I made a final decision.”

It looks like this is the last straw with his voters, they want Blood!

A tweet by Senator Kelly Loeffler says it all, “After 2 weeks, it’s clear that Democrats have no case for impeachment,” she tweeted Monday. “Sadly, my colleague [Senator Romney] wants to appease the left by calling witnesses who will slander the [Donald Trump] during their 15 minutes of fame. The circus is over. It’s time to move on!”

So he has no support in the Senate that does not have a "D" (Dumba$$, IMHO) behind their name. This is NOT the way to keep your job, by pissing off those who must vote you back into office!

Utah's response was Immediate and to point. IF you cease to represent those who voted you into office, they will now be able to remove and replace you! This is a Great Step that we all should emulate, enough is enough; DO YOUR JOB, Or Leave!

A Utah lawmaker has introduced legislation to recall U.S. senators in what some are calling a swipe at Trump critic Mitt Romney.

Rep. Tim Quinn's bill would create a mechanism by which a recall vote could make the ballot after meeting a certain threshold.

This was apparently the straw, that apparently broke the camel's back; because they were already working on this bill to be able to file this bill so quickly!

Romney has been under pressure from Republicans for his seeming willingness to buck President Trump, especially amid impeachment proceedings. Specifically, Romney has been open to hearing witnesses in Trump's Senate impeachment trial at a time when most Republicans are in favor of a fast acquittal of the president.

The consensus is that there is No Impeachable offence in either Article of Impeachment. Partly because there is no crime included here, and also due to a lack of understanding (through ignorance or design) of the Constitutional powers of the Executive branch.

This was a blatant attempt to reverse the 2016 Presidential election, also know as a "coup de ta" Better known as high Treason! Everyone involved should be looking for an honest Job at their next election....
