RE: Pennsif's Sustainability Curation Digest for MSP - week ending 23 February 2020

It would be better I think if there was a system of check boxes you tick to select which of the communities you have subscribed to you would like the post to go to.

And to discourage spamming, implement say a 0.2 STEEM burn fee for each additional community selected after the first one. Great way for the STEEM to be burnt as well.

That's a cool idea!! @eco-alex and I had a long phone chat today India to Thailand trying to grapple with this whole who-posts-where. It will, no doubt, evolve. I am hopeful.

Hi @jarvie - would this be implementable?

You can only have your post in ONE community. It's really quite different than tags.

So does the Cross-Posting feature only work to one community?

repost feature?

Cross-posting...

One post per community means one cross post per community.

Also you could just post the post again in that new community if you're the original author. Cross-posting is faster however. But maybe if you're the original author you're ok with doing the post again.

I'm intrigued why people aren't doing that manually themselves? Is it taboo to post the same thing to the blockchain twice? Or is it another reason

anyway for anyone reading here's a good post about how people should view posting to the blockchain now with communities

i am chattin with steempeak devs on this line of reasoning,.., right now i think they want to hold it to one place... lets see how it pans out!

This was my take on how communities operates ... fun little metaphors/visuals to go along with it.
