I wasn't happy when i first heard about the hardfork and less rewards for users but all of the information since, combined with tribes has changed my perspective a little. I see a lot of good things in the fork and it will be interesting to see how it plays out. The main thing for me now is a smooth transition so that we can restart steem and start marketing it positively to the world.

I think that minnows can do well in the tribes which lessens the need to earn STEEM form their posts. I've even noticed how my rewards have dropped as people have split votes between different tokens and tribes. Plus if we do gain more adoption it will become very hard to earn STEEM in the future anyway, more likely to be earning an SMT of some sort. (SMT's not guaranteed.)

The SPS
This is probably the most bullish thing in this HF to me. I think it will be huge for Steem and really be a new beginning for us.

This for me is massive as we can finally get work done that has been talked about for the past two years that I have been on STEEM. Onboarding, analytics, better interfaces, communities, general ease of use. All the things that we know are needed but steemit.inc will not get around to building into the chain as they are working on the main code. Things that probably don't even take much time to add to the likes of steemit.com.
