Marcus AureliusHis main reason for his popularity is, "He ruled on Rome as an Emporer of Romans from 161 to 180" . He was the last Emperor of the period known as Pax Romanaand (the age of relative peace in the Roman Empire) and was considered as greate one amongst last five emporors and best renowned for his practice for Meditations procedures that one is an exposition of Stoic philosophy which was consists and includes best practical actions to do and advices to spend a purposefull and harmoniously life within this vaster universe. It also reflects light for death remindation which proveably ever-present, and our existence in a very small part of this greate universe. Even Emperor, Marcus wanted to obligedly avoid the dictatorial reforms and tendencies of a Caesar, due to which makes him known for several times held up as a wise and just ruler.

Intro of Marcus Aurelius

He was Roman native and born on 26 April 121.From the family background he had a birth in a politicaly powerful and wealthy Roman family which had finely consolidated his political wisdom and power.Aurelius Antonius was being selected as next Emperor through his uncle Emperor Hadrian and he ruled from (138-161). Antonius, who later on, favored two young boys, one was Lucius Verus and second was Marcus Aurelius to succeed him.

In an Eduactional Career Marcus was busing for a long time education where he studied Latin and Greek grammar to overcome the both languages under his very strict teacher Fronto. Stoic philosophy, he found that his main interest to learn in Greek . He had much keen to study and for especial admiration fir the philosophy of Epictetus who was a former slave but had a leading exponent in the history of stoic philosophy who's philosophy draws an imagination and encouraged the more simplicity in life, self-discipline to be adopted, endurance and duty. This philosophy was main inspiration for him which had a marked impact on Marcus Aurelius inner solidarity, character and actions. That was later on proved as a contrast term to the excesses of previous Roman emperors such as Nero.

Antonius was died On 7 March 161, due to which Marcus had to oversaw an orderly transition with himself and Lucius Verus both are brother, becoming co-emperor. All the Senate members happily voted for confirmation of Marcus alone as Emperor , but Marcus insisted the Senate to confirm both himself and Lucius. Marcus already a power fedup person by having a much greater power which was more than Lucius, therefore he can ruled alone by depossing of his brother Lucius, if he had been power-hungry, he could and ruled alone. So all this is in front of previous emperor's wishes that Aurelius soon felt as a responsibility to make it done, and he happily agreed to share the burden of ruling with Lucius. They doesn't make sense for any changes to past reforms and policies, continued many of them same as of the previous Emperors. Instead of this he bring some changes he incorporated some dynamic changes of removing unforgiving parts of common law and improving the cases of blood relatives in legacy. Marcus ready to take it as his duty to go about as legal referee genuinely; he heard numerous judicial cases and reacted to them with a cautious comprehension with accordance of the law. He was thoughtful to the opportunity of slaves and the situation of vagrants.
