Pink in nature

in #palnet7 years ago

One of my jobs as a photographer is to capture elements of Venezuela's fauna and flora. This wonderful country has an exceptional climate from deserts, jungles to eternal snows.

In my particular case I live in a region where the flora is spectacular, the tropical climate helps to develop abundant plant life of all kinds, one of our wonders is the national flower, orchids are planted in many houses, balconies and trees.

But not only the orchids are an attraction also the flowers of some fruit trees like the pumalaca whose flower indicates the right moment in which the tree begins to give fruits, the flower of this tree is of a very showy intense magenta which after being detached from the tree covers the ground as if it was a vegetal carpet.

Another very popular flower in eastern Venezuela is the purple cariaquito used by herbalists and common people to cook with water the infusion that will then be used at medium temperature for baths that according to custom and belief takes away bad luck.

The roses are not left behind with their very marked and differentiated shape to the European rose, with its exquisite aroma delights the most refined noses in search of natural aromas including bees in search of nectar pollen to make honey.

Other flowers whose beauty is adopted by Venezuelans to decorate the gardens of houses regardless of social class, fortunately the country despite wasting the potential to market flowers can freely get at affordable prices in nurseries or simply extract from nature for free or perhaps ask a neighbor or friend to give you a root or branch to plant flowers.

Venezuela, which is still in the first places as one of the happiest countries in the world, is a country of generous people who take care of the environment. I make an exception of mining sites where the destruction of the environment is terrible because those areas do not represent the great majority of the Venezuelan people. The culture of planting inherited from our ancestors still persists as one of the most beautiful activities that we can possess.

In future publications I will continue to show other striking colors and that emanates a splendorous beauty.

I apologize to my followers for only concentrating on the Puppets in the Community workshop. I hope this year to settle the debt with many publications dedicated to Mother Nature and my documentary photography studies with the best of Venezuelan popular culture.

What color would you like to see on the flowers?

Feel free to leave in the comments section what kind of flower you would like to see based on the diversity of the Venezuelan tropics. Or what specific topic you would like me to talk about in my upcoming publications.
