Work in Progress in Spite of the Hold Backs...
New Motif
This past week in Salida has been a strange one. First off, becoming friends with this local film director has put a temporary roof over my head. Although it may seem strange, I don't sleep as good in this conditions. My body seems to crave the suffering the natural world offers me. One benefit is a dry, wind-free place to draw. Being so close to nature for so long, I decided to do a waterfall in my style.
Besides, there is enough Satanic influence here to turn any person into Alex Gray. I decided to go against the flow a bit...
Drawbacks
As nice as all of this is, the person I am staying with is not only a struggling artist as well, but has an actual family to support. For this reason, I have been footing the food bill for a few days and the costs are becoming outrageous. I thought it was hard to feed one person off of $6 a day? It may be time to move onto greener pastures, as indicated by the 8 of Cups.
Where would you suggest to go, Steemians? I am in Salida, CO now and looking for a place to the south that is warm, supports artists, and has copious amounts of Marijuana.
Much Love!
