In This Segment...
I am going to do a series of short posts that show off some of my work that has sold over the years. This might make it seem like I should be rich but, keep in mind, on average I sell 2-4 paintings a year at $100-$200 a pop, regardless of how they are priced. If you can live off of $800 a year, I would love to see it happen.
My Previous Style
This is a piece I was commissioned to do by a friend of mine in Kansas City, MO. My style at the time was a flat, psychedelic, "Matisse-like" style. This is one of the few pieces that I have done where I actually took mushrooms right before painting it. The woman "puking" butterflies was all the customer's idea.
This was a fun escape from the job I did at the time, which was selling my soul to your Government and sending people who made an innocent mistake to jail, ruining their lives forever. Maybe an article on that one someday?

Holy smokes! Thank you, @notestoself! This was my style between 2002-2012. For a couple years I was distracted pursuing music then returned to art in 2014. Since I was broke and living in a shack, I took some of these older pieces like this one and drew over them with Oil Pastel which led to my current style. Not to worry, the butterflies and many others of this style stay untouched and all have homes. Thanks for the comment and follow! Much love!
