Medical Records - My Experience.

In 2007, when I was 37 years old, I was diagnosed with cancer, and therefore I had to run a series of medical exams and visit different clinics in search of a doctor who I could trust, since in that medical professional I would put my life and my future. Whenever I visited a different doctor I had to keep a folder with all the studies that had been performed on me; X-rays, tomographies, blood tests, among others, then the doctor would write down my data with a pen on a history sheet. Forgetting the folder was inconceivable since if I did, I would have to return to my house to look for it, I was always careful not to lose it, I did not want to run those exams again, it would be extremely expensive.

If during that time I had had MediBloc, I would not have had to carry that folder under my arm every time I visited a doctor, because with my authorization said medical professional would have access to my medical records quickly and with ease. Still, after 10 years, every time I visit a doctor I have to talk about my background and its consequences, with Medibloc I would only have to authorize access to my records and every piece of relevant information would be displayed, I would not have to explain in detail the process I went through and thus, the appointment would not take as much time as it would have had I not had my records in a safe online platform.

Medibloc, Improving the Health Care System.

MediBloc was born out of the need to have a medical data platform using the benefits of the blockchain, founded by Dr. Allen Wookyun Kho and Dr. Eunsol Lee, physicians with a solid training who were very capable to carry out this project.
