I feel like the doodles are scoffing at tradition in a way, but it adds a nice touch of the unexpected. Glad you think so too. I used a wet brush on the green turtle with a really pale color just to see what would happen when the paper is wet, dried thoroughly, then folded. I didn't notice a difference, so more experimentation is likely to come!
