RE: GMOs - Free Documentary Movie Link

in #organic6 years ago

I decided to leave a comment as I know you comment a lot on other people's posts.

This isn't really my thing to be honest, I have a very esoteric taste and I'm not going to pretend I read your post by leaving a vague comment that could mean anything. But what I will do is tell you that I gave you a shout out on my latest post. I'm not saying that if you end up getting over a thousand followers that it was because of me, but I'm just going to plant the seed...

The shout out on your latest post is kind and thoughtful, Lewis. Thank you. I often comment and support content that "isn't my thing" (haha - including yours!) because I believe in the value of community support and believe that diversity of opinion matters. It's a bit like supporting democracy means supporting people who feel like real jerks and who disagree with you. It matters. :)

I like the fact that you are so supportive to others even if it isn't your thing. That is much easier said than done.... :-)

Indeed. :) I try to see it almost as a Buddhist meditation practice - turn off my reactions, see the essence of what the person is trying to do and find one positive thing to focus on. It IS possible and we all need validation, support and encouragement beyond a self-centred upvote.
