A day in the greenhouse
What's better than a day hard work in a green house with (inside) temperatures like in summer ?
Today I started early and my task today was planting long green beans in the greenhouse. So here we go!
First these are the crates with the juveniles:
The first hour I was busy cutting and attaching the (plastic) lines along which the beans will grow upwards. The lines are burried in the ground with the juvenile plants so they must be cut some 10 cm extra than the height to make that easier.

The back with lettuce planted weeks ago already. Delicious and almost ready to harvest end of April!
What a wonderfull day it was.

It's so exciting to see the warmer weather burst into life. My Mum was hand feeding me crisp fresh grown lettuce at the kitchen sink last week, and I'm in my 40s - she's still trying to give me nutrients, lol. Nothing better!
