An Update on Birthday Cards For Kaitlin

Since the card I ordered for Kaitlin came in the mail, I thought I would give y'all an update!

Y'all are so amazing! Kaitlin has received so many cards of late, they had to put a bin next to their mailbox because after this day, they didn't fit anymore!

Kaitlin's mom is spacing them out so Kaitlin is opening about a half dozen a day, both because Kaitlin has focus for about that many at a time, and also so that on days when they don't get any at all, there is a stash reserved so Kaitlin isn't sad about no cards. She's hoping to always have something for Kaitlin to open between now and her birthday, which is this summer. They are getting a ton right now because they were on the news in Canada, so probably it will calm down again when the story isn't new in people's minds.

Someone in California sent Kaitlin a friendship bracelet, and Kaitlin said it's the best gift she has ever received because it's for friends! She said she will wear it forever! 💚
