wow look at some people..first of all it's not a folk, it's all original song. As far as lyrics are concerned they are beautiful and not like today's bhangra pop songs or some stolen sufi kalaams. Vocals are always beautiful if there is a feel in them, if you don't agree just listen to Bob Dylan or Kurt Cobain or may be Janis Joplin or even Mick Jagger. One should be master in the field if one wants to criticize and one more thing, original artists are very sentimental about their work because they are creators and to criticize a creator you have to be a creator or in the same league...Peace to all and be positive..
i am speaking coz i am a musician myself. and i have happened to write some very beautiful compositions. I understand all that u say. i feel it and live it everyday
when i said folk i was talking about the guitar chords being played. I think the overall recording is perhaps not that good, so its very difficult to really listen. would love to listen it live .
