Steemit Open Mic Songwriters Challenge Week 4- Cuz We Can (Porque Podemos)

Hey Steemians!!

It is the 4th week of the contest and i could not be more exited to show you my entry.
This is the very first time ever that i write a song in English! That is a prove that Songwriters Challenge is really helping us grow!! How cool is that?

I found out the theme this week was "Because we can" and i got exited because those 3 words sounded so empowering in my mind. However, I was unable to write anything because i was too busy so, i figured i would get started when i get home... still, i did not, because i made the mistake of joining the @cervantes Discord chat.. and once you are there you can't get out! Those guys are hilarious , so i stayed until pretty late talking to them and didn't even get started on the song. So again, i figured i would get up early to get started before work.

But guess what happened? I got up at 4 am to go pee and the song started sounding in my mind out of the sudden! so yeah! i wrote it all down that instant. (i knew if i went back to bed i would forget the lyrics so i had to make sure to have it all written somewhere so that i would remember at a decent time to work on it) ...And so.. that's how "Cuz We Can" was born! haha!

Hola Steemians!

Esta es la cuarta semana del concurso y no podría estar mas emocionada de mostrarles mi canción de hoy! Esta es la primer vez en mi vida que logro escribir una canción en Ingles! . Esto sirve de prueba de que el Reto de Composición de canciones realmente nos esta ayudando a crecer como artistas! Que genial!

Me di cuenta de que el tema de esta semana era "Because We can" (Porque Podemos) y me super emocioné pues, encontré esas palabras muy llenas de poder! . Sin embargo, estuve muy ocupada en el trabajo y no tenia el tiempo para comenzar a trabajar en la canción. Así que decidí que cuando llegara a casa seria el mejor momento de hacerlo. Pero, cometí el error de meterme al chat de Discord de @cervantes. Cuando entras allí ya no puedes salir! Esos chicos son super divertidos, así que , me quedé hablando con ellos hasta muy tarde, al punto que ya no podía ponerme a escribir. Por lo tanto, decidí que me levantaría temprano, antes del trabajo, y comenzaría a escribir la canción

Adivines que sucedió :. Me levanté a las 4 am para ir al baño y tenia la canción sonando en mi mente!. Así que claro! La escribí toda en ese mismo instante!. Sabia que si me dormía y esperaba a que fuera una hora decente para comenzar a trabajar en la canción, la olvidaría, así que tenia que asegurarme de escribirla en algún lado, para comenzar a trabajar en ella a una hora normal. Y... así nació "Cuz We Can" jaja!
