Is there a regular steemit thread I can post my music on, or does it have to be via discord?
Hey there! Sorry for the late reply.. I missed it so far. To answer your question, it doesn't have to be via discord at all... All you really have to do is just post on your page, you don't even have to make it a comment anywhere like how it was in openmic.
You are, of course, always welcome to join the server, you'll recognize many of the open mic regulars and judges.. but it's not a requirement at all. But in case you want to come over:

The rules for entering the contest are just to say at the beginning your username and that you are entering the contest (say the week number) then share it as a youtube video and make the first tags of your post be #sgl and #sonicgroove. That's literally all. Easy peasy! I really hope to see an entry come in from you! HUGE fan of your music!
We are approaching week 4, starts thursday.. there will be a countdown on http://sgl.sonicgroove.net) after the judging for the current round is finished, to let you know as it approaches, but also an announcement post will be posted when entries may be posted.

Thanks for the info! Will start rerecording again! I'm sad that a couple of songs I recorded for steemit open mic can't be used anymore, because the open mic ended before they could be judged :(
Awww , that is a shame they couldn’t be judged.. I would love to hear them. I’m sure they’d be very well received by SGL. Or you could make a post sharing them anyway or something? Either way, I am excited to see what you share ❤️
