STEEMIT Open Mic Week 50 – Sr. Jou – Pablo Camacaro/Henry Martínez (Zulian Dance)
In this occasion im bringing to all of you one of my favorite songs, which I decided to sing inspired by the presentation from the beloved @mandolincarls (link)
This song was written from the master Pablo Camacaro to his friend Jesus Omar Uribe as a birthday gift, the name of the song comes from the initials of his name, Mr Jou.
Afterwards Henry Martinez wrote a lyric to the melody, shaping the same essence of the song in beautiful words, where it refers to the sun: as a traveler that covers of beautiful light everything that it touchs, how it changes his intensity with each station, his liveliness, integrity and the most beautiful reference of the song in my opinion: Maracaibo is the same sun, city of Zulia known from his hot weather and his breezy people
En esta ocasión les traigo una de mis canciones favoritas, que decidí cantar esta inspirada en la interpretación del querido @mandolincarls (revisar aquí) .
Esta pieza fue compuesta por el maestro Pablo Camacaro para su amigo Jesús Omar Uribe como regalo de cumpleaños, y de las iniciales de su nombre proviene el nombre de la canción : Sr. Jou.
Posteriormente Henry Martínez le escribió una letra a la melodía, plasmando la esencia misma de la canción en palabras hermosas, en donde hace referencia al sol: como un viajero que cubre de luz hermosa todo lo que toca, como cambia su intensidad con cada estación, su viveza, entereza y la referencia más hermosa de toda la canción a mi parecer: Maracaibo es el mismo Sol, ciudad del Zulia conocida por su gente tan vivaz y su clima tan caliente.

Is the Zulian style
The rhythm is "Zulian Dance", native of the Zulia state.
I am from the east of the country but I am fascinated by this style. <3

It was really difficult to couple the voice with the melody of the instrument, but with practice it was possible to capture the essence of the song.

Very nice and sung with great passion! If that's your Papa accompanying you, I'm sure he's quite proud of you!
He is my dad and personally I am proud of him. He agreed to join me in this Open Mic adventure and is the best thing that has happened to me at Steemit. It's a team work that I hope will continue.
