Hoy para mi, comienza una nueva semana de retos y bendiciones y una de esas bendiciones es poder compartir con ustedes un poco de música.
Esta oportunidad quiero compartir una canción del trovador Pablo Milanés. Pablo es un compositor, cantante, guitarrista y cantautor cubano, co fundador, al lado de Silvio Rodríguez de la Trova Cubana.
Esta canción es una de sus preferidas, según sus propias palabras, y de ella dice: "...Me gusta experimentar en ese punto donde se habla poco en la canción romántica donde casi siempre hay una tendencia a mostrar lo más superficial que es: -Te quiero mucho-, - Tú me adoras- o -Si me deja me muero-. Y me parece que hay muchas manifestaciones honrosas y dignas del amor para expresarlas también en canciones y esa es una de las líneas que yo he escogido..."
En esta declaración del trovador cubano, Pablo Milanés - Oficial profundiza en su concepto que tiene sobre las temáticas de amor y desamor en sus canciones, y en cuyo oficio mantiene un respeto por la palabra y originalidad al expresar una canción de amor con un sentido poético.

Pablo Milanés compone "El breve espacio en que no estás" en 1984. Es de sus tantas canciones predilectas dentro de su repertorio conformado por diversos géneros musicales. En este tema se percibe la nostalgia y lo incondicional que puede resultar el sentimiento hacia el ser amado.
