Steemit Open Mic Week 83 - Original Song 'Revolution, evolution'
This is my submission for this weeks Steemit Open Mic contest by @pfunk and @luzcypher. This week I perform an original song called 'Revolution evolution'. I wrote this song over 10 years ago when I was in my utopian "I wanna save the world" phase. And although today I laugh at some of my lyrics here, I think it's still a great 'feel good' song and I still enjoy playing it!

Love and compassion

A world wide conciousness
Seeing we're all one
In the morning on the horizon
With the rising sun

Really not sure where we've been

I am mystified why you would laugh at the lyrics now. They are just as wonderful now as they would have been ten years ago, or fifty years ago. They're timeless.

Thank you so much @thekittygirl! That colorful mural is in my living room.. isn't that awesome! As for the lyrics I just think it's really idealistic or utopian. Nothing wrong with the ideas. I do agree with what I wrote. And I'm really happy that you enjoyed it. Even though it's pretty old now this song has always been one of my favorite originals.
