Daring to play a piece that start with such bold full plenum chords for an audience that probably hardly has any experience with organ music (the open mic participants fall largely in the category man/woman with guitar). Though with three organists participating in the contest, that experience will grow. O, that reminds me, I still have to record something for the openmic contest...
As I’m guest judge for the Secrets of Organ Playing contest this week, I decided to enter openmic instead. Let’s hope more organists will join both 😄
