its not where i record it, its mostly the mic and also the software i use to record the audio, mixcraft 7. i could be in a kitchen or outdoors even it doesn't matter. this mic was $50 it works very well. https://www.amazon.com/Shure-SM48-LC-Dynamic-Microphone-Cardioid/dp/B0002D0HY4 and the software is a little pricey but you can find other options for free probably, anything that has reverb and an equalizer, it can be software or effects pedals that you run the microphone through. I had to buy a separate cable to hook the mic to a USB port but it was like $10 i think, very cheap.
