How To Send From Openledger To Bittrex Through Steemit
To send to your Steem wallet, you need to "withdraw" from OpenLedger.
- click on "Deposit/Withdraw" on the top menu
- select "OPENLEDGER" from the list of exchanges
- click on the buttons for "GATEWAY" and "WITHDRAWAL"
- select the coin type "OPEN.STEEM"
- click the "WITHDRAW NOW" button and enter the amount to withdraw and your Steem account name for the destination.
For example my account name is aetsen so in the send to space I put aetsen. Then you can go to your wallet on steemit and withdraw using the account and memo given in your bittrex wallet. I hope this helps some people as I was very confused as to how to do this at first myself.
As a note ... do NOT send OPEN.STEEM to "bittrex" on the BTS network. We do not own that account and funds sent there are unrecoverable. The safest thing to do is to send to your steemit account first, then to bittrex.

Yea. This is for sending from openledger to steemit account and then to bittrex. Just to clarify in case anyone was confused. Since right now you can not send directly from openledger to bittrex this is the work around.
I was personally quite confused about this (and I've used 5 different exchanges so far). I know doing that type of transfer is probably not very common, but surely there's a way of making the openledger->bittrex steem process clearer?

Just what Bittrex gives you. It has two spots. Account name is bittrex and memo is tied to your specific account. Hope that helps. I will try to include screen shots once I get time.
