1. Alicia Keys
Alicia Keys is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, pianist and actress who has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.
She started her singing career in 2001 with her debut album being "Songs in A Minor".
This debut album produced her first Billboard Hot 100 number one song "Fallin" and earned her 5 Grammy Awards.
All in all, she is a 15 Grammy Award winner for all her albums till date and 17 NAACP Image Awards.
Time magazine named her in the list of "100 most influential people" in 2005 and again in 2017.
2. Ilya Prigogine
Ilya Prigogine was a Russian physical chemist who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his work on disruptive structures, complex systems and irreversibly.
He studied chemistry from Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium in 1950 and became the professor of the same university in 1959.
He then worked as professor for university of Texas and university of Chicago.
He was honoured with as many as 59 honorary degrees and besides Nobel Prize, he was also a winner of Rumford Medal, Francqui Prize.
3. Corazon Aquino
Corazon Aquino was a Filipina politician and was the 11th President of Philippines and the first woman president of Philippines.
She is regarded as "Mother of Asian Democracy" and was first female president among Asian countries.
She was a house wife until her husband just after returning from US, got assassinated and led for Corazon's entry into politics.
She was awarded with "Prize for Freedom" Award in 1987 and Ramon Magsaysay Award (known as Asian Nobel Prize) in 1968 for her efforts in peaceful revolution to attain democracy.
Time Magazine in 1999 named her among "20 Most Influential Asians of the 20th century.
4. Samuel Cohen
Samuel Cohen was an American physicist and is known as "Father of Neutron bomb".
He was part of Manhattan project(a research and development undertaking during World War II that produced the first nuclear weapons).
5. Arvid Carlsson
Arvid Carlsson is a Swedish neuropharmacologist who researched on neurotransmitter dopamine and it's effects with regards to the Parkinson's disease.
He was a co-winner of Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2000 along with Eric Kandel and Paul Greengard.
Besides Nobel Prize, Carlsson is a winner of Wolf Prize in Medicine, Lieber Prize, Japan Prize.
