1. Bruce Willis
Bruce Willis is an American actor, producer and singer who has been part of some of the best Hollywood movies like Die Hard series, 12 Monkeys, The Fifth Element, Armageddon, The Sixth Sense, Sin City, The Expendables 2.
He has appeared in over 60 films in his acting career spanning close to 5 decades.
He has been honoured with an appointment as Order of the French Order of Arts and Letters.
He has a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame and has won a Golden Globe Award along with an Emmy Award.
2. Philip Roth
Philip Roth is an American novelist who is mainly known for his fictions and is a winner of many awards including Pulitzer Prize and U.S National Book Award for Fiction.
His well known novels include The Ghost Writer, Zuckerman Unbound, The Anatomy Lesson, The Prague Orgy.
He has won Pulitzer Prize once and has been the finalist 4 other times.
He is a winner of National Medal of Arts and has won Man Booker International Prize in 2011.
3. Mario J. Molina
Mario J. Molina is a Mexican chemist who worked on discovery of Antarctic Ozone hole.
He is a climate policy adviser to President of Mexico.
He became the first Mexican born citizen to receive a Nobel Prize in Chemistry when he became a co-recipient of the same in 1995 for his role in elucidating the threat to the Earth's ozone layer of chlorofluorocarbon gases (or CFCs).
He is also a winner of Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2013.
4. Frédéric Joliot-Curie
Frédéric Joliot-Curie was a French physicist and joint-winner of Nobel Prize in Chemistry along with his wife Irene Joliot-Curie in 1935 for their discovery on Artificial Radioactivity.
Irene and Frédéric were interested in study of atoms.
Frédéric was a Foreign Member of Fellow of Royal Society of London.
He was also a recipient of first Stalin Peace Prize in 1951.
5. Richard Burton
Richard Burton was a English explorer, translator and geographer who was known for his travels and explorations in Asia, Africa and Americas.
His famous expeditions include a trip to Mecca and that led to his translation of The Arabian Nights to English.
He also served as Captain of East India Company in India.
He was a Fellow of Royal Geographical Society and was honoured with Knighthood in 1886.
These are truly amazing personalities and role-models.
