1. Bobby Fischer
Bobby Fischer was an American chess grandmaster and former world chess champion.
He is considered as one among the greatest chess players of all time.
He was the eleventh world chess champion won in 1972 defeating Boris Spassky.
He became US Chess Champion at the age of 14 and a Grand master at the age of 15, youngest at that time.
2. Yuri Gagarin
Yuri Gagarin was a Soviet pilot and the first human to journey into outer space as part of Vostok spacecraft in 1961.
Because of his achievement, he was honoured with Soviet Union's highest honour,Hero of the Soviet Union along with various other honours and titles.
Gagarin later served as Deputy training director of Cosmonaut Training Centre near Moscow.
3. Amerigo Vespucci
Amerigo Vespucci was an Italian explorer, financier and navigator who is the inventor of America by demonstrating that Brazil and West Indies are not part of Asia as per Columbus's voyages, thus paving way for a new continent America which derived it's name from Americus, the Latin version of Amerigo Vespucci's first name.
It is said that he made 4 voyages in total.
4. Walter Kohn
Walter Kohn was an Austrian born American theoretical physicist and theoretical chemist who was a key contributor to the density functional theory(a computational quantum mechanical modelling method used in physics, chemistry and materials science to investigate the electronic structure).
He also made contributions to semiconductor physics.
He was honoured with Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1998 and Oliver E. Buckley prize in 1961 for his contributions to semiconductor physics.
5. Julia Mancuso
Julia Mancuso is a retired American world cup alpine ski racer and a winner of Olympics gold medal won at 2006 winter Olympics in giant slalom event.
She made it to 2 silvers in 2010 winter Olympics winning silvers in downhill and combined events and a bronze medal in 2014 winter Olympics in combined event, thus making her 4 medal winner in winter Olympics.
Apart from these, she also won 5 medals in world championships.
