1. Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks was an American activist in the Civil Rights Movement and is considered as the first lady of civil rights and the mother of the freedom movement.

It's said that Rosa was asked to vacate the seat for a white passenger when travelling in a bus in Montegomery, but Rosa refused to vacate and was arrested and that seems to be the ignition for Rosa to start as an activist for Civil Rights Movement.

She actively participated with other civil rights leaders like Martin Luther King Jr., Edgar Nixon and others.

For her act of resilience and fight for civil rights, she was honoured with Presidential Medal of Freedom and Congressional Gold Medal.

Her Birthday (today, 4th February) is celebrated as Rosa Parks Day.

2. Dan Quayle

Dan Quayle is an American politician and lawyer who was the 44th Vice President of United States of America from 1989 to 1993.

He represented Indiana as an U S Senator.

As a vice president, he made visits to 47 countries on official visits.

He currently works as the chairman of global investments at Cerberus Capital Management.

3. Oscar De La Hoya

Oscar De La Hoya is a former professional boxer from America who is nicknamed as Golden Boy and is a winner of multiple world titles in 6 different weight categories.

He was named "Fighter of the Year" by Ring Magazine in 1995.

He is a winner of Gold Medal in 1992 Barcelona Olympics in Lightweight category.

He is a member of 2008 United States Olympic Hall of Fame.

4. Isabel Martínez de Perón

Isabel Martínez de Perón is a former President of Argentina from 1974 to 1976 and is the wife of former President of Argentina Juan Peron who served from 1973 to 1974 and Isabel served as Vice President during that time.

She took over as President in 1974 after her husband's death.

She is the first woman President of a country in the world.

5. Ken Thompson

Ken Thompson is an American well known computer science engineer and responsible for designing and implementing the UNIX operating system along with inventor of programming languages B and C.

He worked at Bell Labs.

He is also known for his works on regular expressions and early computer text editors QED and ed.

He is a Fellow of Computer History Museum and is an awardee of IEEE Richard W. Hamming Medal and National Medal of Technology.
